I spoke to Jo Shirley tonight who helps Nellie a lot.

She has a partia dead bowel. She is on antibiotics to try to reduce inflammation, but is probably facing surgery to remove the Edward part - it is in the descending colon.

I plan on visiting Nellie tomorrow morning around 10:00.
